My Moonstars: Look what I saw today!

The black bear was about twenty feet away! I saw him yesterday as well, and on the second time this morning I finally got a picture!

Ruth said...: He's SO Close!! So is all that Snow...We are having a rainy spring down here in the lower 48. Perhaps that translates to more snow for you guys.; 5:40 AM
Kristin said...: All the snow is what accumulated over last winter. It'll all be gone, except for on the mountain peaks, within the month. The snow there gets more than 25 feet deep in the winter. It's called the tormented valley.

We haven't gotten any snow since we got here though. I wear short sleeves everyday.; 8:18 AM
JC said...: We have a momma bear and 2 cubs living at the end of our cul-de-sac. They are getting "less afraid" all the time and they're really making themselves at home. In fact, one of them came right up to my neighbour's front door, and also (I don't know if it was the same one) went into a neighbours garage! We just moved into this house in October so I didn't realize the bear issue then. I have a little dog. :P We are having a rainier spring than usual but bears are apparently common where I live.; 10:20 PM
