Our Little Puker!

Here is our pumpkin for the year. We have to lure kids up to the third floor by setting one out, otherwise we get no trick-or-treaters, as evidenced by the first two years here, but last year we got six. I'm hoping for more this year so that Rob doesn't eat all the twix by himself. :)

Oh, and other good news! Rob has decided to do the Florida Keys Ragnar Relay in January. AKA, we're going to Florida in January! It's going to be our Christmas/Graduation presents to ourselves. Yeah, we graduate in 49 days-December 18th. For those of you that are interested in more info about times and such, I'll post it and email it out as soon as we get it.

Another fun note is that Rob will be presenting at the AGU Conference the week of Graduation, in San Francisco, so scheduling might be crazy for us. But, 49 days! Hurrah!

New Town, Malad

This morning I met my brother, Greg, in Malad to hand off a couple of bikes that we fought for and bought last weekend. Because I arrived about 45 minutes before he did, I wandered around town looking for something new to photograph.

This was just one of the fine images I captured. The sky was absolutely perfect. I got a pano of the little lake, but my lens was crazy dirty, so I'm still working on editing out the little black spots. Panorama to come.

And this is Greg riding his new (to him) road bike. Yessss.

Time Management

This is how I'm feeling about life right now. The faces on the balls are of Rob and my teachers. The one falling is for my block class that ended yesterday.

I'm working on a project for my html/css class, and this is seriously the best sight possible. I love it when my html validates! ESPECIALLY the first time!

Good use of Time

While we were waiting for the tow truck to arrive Friday night, I had to take advantage of the opportunity and some long exposure shots. These two are my favorites, with a little HDR magic, of course . . .

#1 Dad

My car broke down last night. I got it towed to Logan. My Dad came and rescued me today. It was a bad alternator.
